What's new at David Jones - May 2025

Xerjoff Fragrances

A line of gorgeous and beautifully packaged high-end fragrances, X Xerjoff perfumes have landed at David Jones this month. Xerjoff is the seventh most popular brand on Fragrantica, and Naxos- a sweet honeyed vanilla perfume- is the fifth most popular individual fragrance on the site.

 

 

Juliette Has a Gun 'Miami Shake'

Unable to resist the pull of the TikTok 'gourmand girlies', Juliette Has a Gun have created a sweet strawberry milkshake fragrance with notes of wild strawberry, ice cream, whipped cream and vanilla. Some have likened this fragrance to Hubba Bubba and strawberry soda.

Givenchy 'L'Interdit Eau De Parfum Angelique Rouge'

This new flanker to the L'Interdit line combines mixed white florals with slight notes of vetiver and angelica; a herbaceous green accord. The original L'Interdit is a white-floral bomb of a fragrance, featuring tuberose, orange blossom and jasmine. This new flanker attempts to create a slightly aromatic and woody edge, while staying loyal to the original vision. 

Chloé 'Nomade Lumiere d'Egypte'

This line is so interesting, and this particular fragrance complements the 'Nomade Nuit d'Egypte' to create a pairing representative of a journey through Egypt during the day, and then the night. The original 'Nomade' is an earthy, fruity fragrance featuring oakmoss, sandalwood, mirabelle and freesia. Then you get 'Nomade Nuit d’Egypte' in which the brand replaced the earthy facets with a heart of orange blossom, but supplemented its' original deepness with myrrh and opoponax. Now, 'Nomade Luminere d'Egypte' has taken out much of the deep resinous aspects of the previous flankers and instead presents a watery jasmine fragrance.

Kylie Cosmetics 'Cosmic 2.0'

The original Cosmic by Kylie Cosmetics was a safe, clean musk fragrance. With Cosmic 2.0, the brand has branched out in the safest way and made a similarly powdery fragrance centered around a sweet vanilla orchid accord.
