What's new at Mecca - May 2025
Have you been too busy to scour the shelves of Mecca and find something new and exciting? Here's what's new at Mecca:
Ellis Brooklyn 'Guava Granita'
Delicious tropical, fruity notes of banana, guava and melon, combined with coconut for a vacation-worthy scent. There are reviews online that say this is not a particularly original fragrance, however I'm at a reach to find comparable scents on the Australian market. Unfortunately, it's starting to get a bit too chilly to be reaching for such a Summery fragrance.
Byredo 'Blanche Absolu'
A more intense version of the original 'Blanche' (2009) this fragrance is inspired by the colour white and is likened by reviewers to laundry detergent. A combination of aldehydes, musk and ambroxan create a crisp and clean fragrance, with a super concentrated formula to really pack a punch.
Perfumer H 'Steam'
Inspired by mist as it rolls through a forest, Steam is a refreshing fragrance meant to inspire clarity and awakening in its' wearer. With prominent notes of green tea, cedar and juniper, this is a refreshing green fragrance that lies somewhere between personal scent and aromatherapy.
